Jayco 2014 Jay Flight Swift

The Lightweight Jay Flight Swift Delivers a Host of Fun Features in a Space-Saving Design

November 20, 2013

MIDDLEBURY, IN. – The Jay Flight Swift continues to put family first with a long list of standard features, space-saving floorplans and a family-friendly price tag. The super towable Jay Flight Swift SLX and the affordably priced Jay Flight Swift are among some of North America's top-selling lightweights and join Jayco's popular Jay Flight lineup, the number 1 selling travel trailer for eight years straight. And for 2014, Jayco will continue to put value on the map with a series of upgrades loaded into this lightweight lineup.

Perfectly sized for on-the-go fun, the 2014 Jay Flight Swift SLX weighs under 2,700 pounds, making SLX towable by most minivans and crossovers. Built at 7' wide, under 9' tall and ranging in 16- to 20-foot lengths, SLX is easy to see around when towing, and select models fit into most residential garages. Swift SLX can sleep up to five thanks to a variety of sleeping arrangements, like convertible dinettes, bunk beds, sleeper sofas and queen-sized beds. For 2014, the 8,000-BTU A/C is now standard. SLX is available in six floorplans.

Meanwhile, the 2014 Jay Flight Swift is big on features your family will love, like a family-friendly outside shower, 6.3 cu. ft. double-door refrigerator, quick-recovery Atwood water heater and four stabilizer jacks.  On select models, Jay Flight Swift is equipped with pass-through storage and a new Technology Package that packs a 26" LED TV and DVD player into Swift's newly styled entertainment center. Outside, marine-grade exterior speakers are now standard. Jay Flight Swift is available in 8 space-saving floorplans, weighing under 6,000 pounds.

In both series, superior craftsmanship starts at the top with the Jayco-exclusive Magnum Truss Roof System. In a side-by-side test, this advanced roof system was 50 percent stronger than other industry roofs. The Jay Flight Swift lineup boasts even more hidden value. Inside the Amish-crafted cabinetry, customers won't find staple construction thanks to lumbercore screwed cabinetry stiles. Other standard construction features include an integrated A-frame, galvanized steel wheel wells and hand-tucked fiberglass insulation.

And because Jayco prides itself in construction, every RV is backed by an industry-leading, two-year Co-Pilot Limited Warranty — the most comprehensive warranty in the industry. This no-strings attached warranty is not an extended dealer warranty; it's a manufacturer's warranty that comes from the people who build Jayco RVs. Each Jayco is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. It's one of the many ways Jayco provides peace of mind (and more fun) to its customers.
