Jayco® Offers Travel Trailers With Today’s Popular Off-Road Look

December 13, 2004

MIDDLEBURY, IN - Embracing a changing RV marketplace, Jayco launches 2005 Baja editions of Jay Flight™ and Jay Feather™ travel trailers. Demand for off-road ready units inspired the Baja editions, built especially for the extreme RVer.

Rough-terrain equipment allows these units to go where typical travel trailers can’t. Rugged exterior features include additional ground clearance, 15-inch off-road tires and chrome rims. Light bars and four spotlights are located on the roof, while a checkered fabric awning offers shade. Diamond plate covers the LP tank, toolbox, and side and front skirting. All units come prepared for an optional 2800-watt generator and RVQ® grill.

The Jay Feather Baja has expandable, tip-out bunks. It also includes a 60-inch deck perfect for hauling dirt bikes and other extreme sports equipment. An interior AM/FM stereo with CD player comes standard.

The Jay Flight Baja offers a Dolby™ Digital 5.1 home theater system with recessed ceiling speakers. Active families will enjoy the outside shower that’s standard on all models. A chuck wagon exterior kitchen for outside dining is available on the 23 Baja.
