Jayco Jay Flight:
America’s Best-Selling Travel Trailer

“Jay Flight has been #1 since 2005. When the product was introduced in model year 2002, it was done with the desire to have the best floorplans, features and value that customers want. The industry has changed greatly in 15 years, but we have never stopped listening to what consumers are asking for.”

-Amy Duthie, Senior Director of Product Development, Jay Flight

“IF IT’S NOT DONE WELL,
IT’S NOT WORTH DOING”

That was Jayco founder Lloyd Bontrager’s philosophy. He thought that his family deserved a better RV—and that yours does too. One that’s sturdy, carefully designed and built to last. Fifty years later, his legacy lives on in the Jay Flight.

The Jay Flight Difference

The travel trailer you choose should be as strong as the memories you’ll make in it. Our Jay Flight is America’s best-selling travel trailer for a reason—thanks to superior construction, weatherproofing and floorplan designs.

The Jay Flight Difference
1
Strong foundations—Many competitors modify or weld stock frames, which can weaken the integrity of your foundation. Jayco’s custom-manufactured frames offer higher strength and durability
2
Hand-tucked and glued fiberglass insulation increases the insulation value near the 2-inch x 2-inch wooden studs
3
An optional fiberglass package offers a smooth, sleek look; front and rear walls are vacuum bonded for added durability, while the sidewalls are pinch rolled, for an affordable combination
4
Magnum Truss Roof System withstands 4,500 pounds—50 percent more than other roofs; by using 3/8-inch plywood decking at every seam we offer higher durability than competitors’ stapled construction; a one-piece, sidewall-wrapped DiFlex II material provides the ultimate in leak protection
5
Durable floors feature 5/8-inch tongue-and-groove plywood on 2-inch x 3-inch wooden joists, wrapped with a protective moisture barrier to keep the elements at bay
6
Galvanized-steel wheel wells, not found on competing models, reduce heat loss and prevent damage in case of road debris
7
G20 dark-tinted windows, most of which are vented—even in the slideout end walls
8
Plywood bunk bases with extra-thick 4-inch mats (select models) along with queen Simmons® mattresses (n/a on some 7-foot models) add comfort and durability
