Jayco's Lite Weight Octane ZX Toy Hauler Designed for People Who Live for Adventure

MIDDLEBURY, Ind. – With its easy-to-tow Octane ZX™, Jayco® has created the ultimate value-priced sport utility trailer that allows adventure-seekers to live in style and store toys like ATVs and dirt bikes, all while driving through rough terrain.

The entry-level Octane ZX toy hauler offers comfortable, roomy living space combined with abundant room to store off-road toys. The Octane ZX is available in several floorplans, ranging in length from over 28 feet to over 33 feet.

At over 6 feet long and with a 2,500-pound capacity, the super-wide 6-1/2 foot ramp makes it easy to load and unload large toys. The easy-to-open and close hinged, spring-assist ramp door features radius corners and an anti-slip, non-skid floor. Ten heavy-duty D-rings anchored to the frame hold 2,500 pounds each, ensuring toys will remain in place during journeys.

The cargo area transforms easily into a comfortable living space that features electric pull-down laminated queen beds that allows for higher clearance when the beds are lifted. Optional equipment available in the cargo area includes an electric queen bunk with rollover sofa, ToyLok® retractable security cable, 25-gallon fuel station and a retractable screen wall.

With sleeping room for seven people, the roomy and comfortable Octane ZX comes standard with several home-like touches, including Manchester Oak cabinetry, 3-burner range, linoleum flooring in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and cargo area, a 12-volt demand water pump, a variety of interior color schemes and an all-systems monitor panel.

The Octane ZX boasts high-quality construction of exterior sidewalls that are built with 2-inch by 2-inch non-dado studs placed on 16-inch centers with R-7 fiberglass insulation glued in place. The tapered rafter roof features a durable rubber roof surface material. The hip, edgy exterior graphics and logos reflect the active lifestyles of the product’s audience.

The Customer Value Package adds several liveable items, including a Sony® stereo system with four speakers, Sony® CD receiver and iPod® and MP3 input jack, water purification system, large double door refrigerator, central air conditioning, Carefree® Travl’r 12-volt electric patio awning and stabilizer jacks. Other optional equipment includes a 4,000-watt generator, Sony® Xplod® subwoofer and amplifier and roll-up cargo carpet.
