Front and rear sway bars keep the RV flatter in turns by transferring the pressure on the outboard wheel and applying it to the inboard tire, distributing the weight more evenly on all four wheels for a road-hugging ride. They also eliminate excessive sway on bumpy roads, raising and lowering each side of the unit to similar heights.
Bilstein shocks feature a unique monotube gas-pressure design that provides optimum ride quality and vehicle control. Bilstein shock absorbers last 2-3 times longer and have a 228 percent larger surface area than the conventional twin tube piston. Along with Jayco Motorhomes, Bilstein shocks are found in many high-end luxury vehicles.
Every Jayco motorhome driveshaft is balanced. This extra step, overlooked by many competitors, ensures the driveshaft is properly tuned to reduce shudder and vibrations, while ensuring power is efficiently transmitted to the wheels.
Every Alante features front and rear variable-rate jounce bumpers positioned under the frame to absorb vibration, perfectly complimenting other JRide components.
